I have adjusted many things (tone level, inband, etc) but cannot get the 1062 to send touchtones to Voip.Ms voicemail service).

I am using *97 and get in but no digit is recognized after that. Anyone else having issues?

Does your DTMF mode match on both the phone and your VoIP.ms account settings / sub account?

I have had some time to do some more testing.

It seems that after connecting a call through Voip.Ms OR GoogleVoice, no touchtones are passed.

I reset both LINE and IP PHONE-phone settings to Obitalk settings, just in case.

Googlevoice and CircleNet both appear to have no audio once connected. I have not tried other setting for those two.

I took Voip.Ms and configigured SP3 settings:
Set for AUTO, no tone.
Set for INBAND, no tone.
Set for RFC2833, no tone.
Set for SipInfo, no tone.
Set for SIP and RFC2833, no tone.

It does not matter if I use hands-free dialing or list the phone.

I am pressing the LINE buttons and see that the caller-id differs, so that seems to show I am getting different SP's.

So I can dial out but can't get any audio after the call answers.

I also caled INTO the phone and connected. I then pressed touchtones on the phone but did not hear any tones. Thus on a connected call, whether incoming or outgoing, no tones are passed.

So as far as I can tell, it doesn't matter which SP I use, after a call completes, no tones are passed.

That leads me to a PHONE or LINE setting or firmware glitch.

You used the term "no audio".  Did you mean "I couldn't hear the DTMF tones, and neither could the voicemail system I was calling, but I can have a conversation"?  Or, did you mean "I couldn't hear anything at all (no voices, nor any DTMF)"?

I have a 1022 and a 1032, and both work with Callcentric and Google Voice, using DTMF = Auto, with no problems.  I hear short beeps when I press keys, and all the SPs work to access voicemail, deal with various IVRs, and the Google Voice SPs work with all the Google Voice menus.  It seems unlikely that the 1062 would behave differently, but ya never know with Obihai...

The firmware level is:  5.0.0 (Build: 3223.1311)

Perhaps it's time to factory-reset the thing after deleting it off of the portal, and just try a basic Google Voice SP setup, to see if that works.

My 1032 has the same firmware as Steve's.  I just tested VoIP.ms voicemail and it worked as expected.  I use RFC2833.

I updated with the latest patch just issued and my problem went away. I am now back using AUTO.
