What are the steps required to make changes stick to the outgoing dial plan.
OBI GUI outgoing digit map cannot be altered and changes made via the device web page get reset to the original.
What am I missing, any help welcome. :-[
Thanks...

To make changes locally to the OBi, you must disable Auto Provisioning:

System Management -> Auto Provisioning -> Auto Provisioning -> Method : Disabled

Obihai suggests you make any changes to the OBi device configuration via the cloud-based OBiTALK portal.  This will afford you the most flexible and accessible means to control the configuration of your device(s).

If you disable Auto Provisioning, the likelihood of accidentally disabling and/or mis-configuring behaviors is greater than if you try to manage the OBi only via its local web-page UI.

To access the OBi DigitMap (or dial plan), select your device from the OBi Dashboard and then select the OBi Expert Configuration button and enter the Obi Expert.  You will see that the OBi Expert Configuration pages look very similar to the device UI web pages except the configuration with OBi Expert is cloud-based and feeds securely to your individual device(s) as new parameter settings are submitted..

Huh?

"If you disable Auto Provisioning, the likelihood of (something) is greater than if you try to manage the OBi only via its local web-page UI."

If you disable Auto Provisioning then, by definition, you're managing the OBi via its local web-page UI.

There's only two possible options:

1. You enable Auto Provisioning and do ALL configuration from the OBiTALK Web Portal (ONLY!).

2. You disable Auto Provisioning and do ALL configuration from the OBi web-page UI (ONLY!).

Could you give us a few real-world/typical-user examples of accidentally disabling and/or mis-configuring behaviors that would occur managing an OBi locally that would not occur managing the OBi though OBi Expert?

Thanks.

Disabling auto and using the device web interface works.
I cannot change anything in the dial plan using the OBI interface.

Thanks everyone...
