Can I set up old obi100 manually for GV?

So I screwed up... I got the silly message that I needed to update my password (had not changed it), tried that, tried to update the firmware (was up to date) and proceeded to delete the whole set up hoping to start from scratch.
I guess I did not realize there was a general failure from Obi and now I'm left with no way to set it up again but pay the $10 "extension of warranty".

Is there another option to set up my GV again manually without paying the fee?

Had been a happy customer for 4 years and recommended this device to so many friends, I must say i'm a little upset...

If you've updated your firmware past build 2824, you cannot set up Google Voice manually.  However, you can manually update your firmware to avoid the $10 fee.

Thanks Mango! I had updated over and over again to build 2872 and pulling my hair.
I just found 2886 and i'm back online!
