Can someone please help me fix this error? I can't update the firmware. I keep seeing this message "Firmware package checksum error" I downloaded the latest firmware given here

Thank you.

Did you try to download it again?  Occasionally you only get a partial download and you will receive that error.

Did you use this link? http://fw.obihai.com/OBi110-1-3-0-2886.fw

The correct file size for OBi110-1-3-0-2886.fw is 2243822 bytes.

Thanks, worked great.

Yes I got the exact size download. But looks like I might have upgraded to Obi200 firmware before? instead of Obi100/Obi110?

How can I reset it back to the older firmware now?

Thanks so much for making this such an easy thing to do! I am guessing you need the money, so you are trying to extort it from everybody to get your 10 lousy dollars.

With this kind of service, you will be out of business soon. I suggest you start trying to help the people that have already paid for your boxes, and stop trying to strong arm them.

I don't think it is possible to get OBi200 firmware loaded into an OBi100 but even if you somehow managed that it would have bricked the 100.  Different processors (MIPS and ARM) which have completely different instruction sets.  So if your OBi100 is responding at all, I'd be prepared to wager large amounts of money that you have not upgraded your OBi100 with Obi200 firmware.

Try downloading the firmware again.
