I noticed my OBI 110 wasn't working today.

I did a google search, tried many of the fixes (confusing at best) listed in these forums, none of which worked! I even updated the firmware. Still no luck in getting it to work.

Then I found by far the EASIEST solution to fix it that I was unaware of until today.

DO NOT LOG IN thru WEB BROWSER via router 192.168.1.???

FIRST Log in to your gmail account that is associated with your google voice, and make sure your web browser is already logged into gmail.

Use this link via Obitalk (first time I discovered this was available) https://www.obitalk.com/obinet

Hit accept to allow Obitalk to connect to your google account and then it will ask you to call a number from your handset plugged into Obi (**5 2775 or something like that) to verify the account.

Then I set up SP1, saw it was connecting the account and BINGO, it now says Connected! It worked perfectly!

To set up SP2, you need to log out of gmail, and then log in with your other gmail account that the 2nd number (SP2) is associated with and repeat the same process.

I found this video that shows what it should look like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnox_gcjmt4

After spending 60 mins trying to figure it out on the web browser via local IP, I discovered this much better and easier method!

I'm back up and running fine now after about 5 mins to configure!

Hope this helps!

Tosh!  (http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/tosh)

The **5xxxx procedure is for adding an OBi device to your Dashboard.  Nothing to do with verifying an account.

The default user and password are admin.  If you think you did not change them try typing admin again very carefully.

If you configure your device via the Obitalk portal, the password is shown there.  The password for logging in to the portal (and this forum) is not the same as for local access to the device.

If all else fails you can perform a factory reset - see the FAQs - which will reset the local login password.

The instructions helpfully provided by Steve from Washington worked for me with a username of admin and the "Webpage Admin Password" from my Device Configuration on the OBiTakl on-line administration screen.

Thanks for your expert advice Steve  :)
