I have two devices in two different locations, an OBi202, and an OBi200.
Both only use Google voice.

The OBi202 works pretty reliably all the time.

The OBi200 works fine for placed calls, but about 50% of the time received calls are silent (at my end, I think the other end as well). It's so unreliable that I'm very reluctant to use it.

I guess I could switch them between locations and see if the problem follows the device, but they are far apart and I haven't had a chance to do that yet. Any other suggestions for what might cause this, or how to diagnose it?

Some diagnostic stuff pulled from other threads:

Firmware version on the problematic device is 3.1.0.5264
In Google voice settings, the google chat checkbox is checked.
I tried re-associating with the correct Google voice account.
**9 222 222 222 echo test works fine (though seems to have a lag of 0.25-0.5 seconds)
Device that works is on Comcast. Device that's flaky is on Time Warner.

I had this type of a problem and raised a support issue last October. Obi support told me it was likely because my Google account is in a private domain - not the regular gmail domain. The work around is to reconfigure the Obi every time we move location. I can only have one Obi active at a time.

You can simply transfer your Google Voice phone number to a regular Gmail.com account.  It's free, and it takes place immediately.  Only the number will transfer; your settings, contacts and saved messages will stay with the original account.  Here are the instructions:

https://support.google.com/voice/answer/3527591?hl=en&ref_topic=1708124

Also, you can have multiple OBi 200 or 202 models signed into the same Gmail/GV account at the same time.
