any consensus on what fax to buy that works with Obihai 202

My canon L90 does not work with obihai 202. so I am searching to buy a new one that will work with VOIP.
Any suggestion?

What do you mean by "does not work"?

Have you optimised the Canon's settings to better suit VoIP?

The choice of ITSP may be important too.

I have a Brother MFC-J4510DW connected to an OBi110 in the UK. Works fine via Localphone to an ancient Sharp fax on a cable TV phone line in rural Japan.

Someone else will be along here soon to tell you that fax machines are yesterday's technology and suggest alternative methods.

I have a Brother MFC-9440CN and a 16 year old HP multi-function printer. I have no problems with faxes on either machine. IMHO the quality of your internet connection (ISP, modem and router) and your Service Provider are more significant than your fax machine.

Run this test:

You will need a browser that supports Java and have the latest version installed.
Click on the Summary tab after the test.
All categories should pass (green).

If you're not using Google Voice, get an account.
I and others have had good luck with GV and faxing.
