OBI202 can't access via IP to apply firmware
Jeanne:
Sorry, overlooked that suggestion when the other method worked. So, I just did it and yes, I can log in to Obi202. Apparently it needs the WAN mode because it is defaulting to an address that is not on our LAN, even though it is (our LAN router shows the real address).
But now I'm looking at pages of LAN and WAN settings that were never used or necessary in our simple Obi202 use, until now. Can I just ignore it all, or must I use it? I can think of no reason Obi202 needs to be a router or provide DHCP, etc. It just needs to connect a couple of local telephone sets to the Internet.
Mango:
The OBi202's integrated router is useful for people who don't already have a router, or don't have and need a QoS router. As long as your service is functioning correctly as it is, you can safely ignore it. It's not mandatory to use.

I spaced on the OP having a 202. It was only mentioned in the thread title and the OP 6 times. I can't be expected to remember all this technical stuff. I'm old. ;D

Your solution worked anyway. :)
