Uses for LINE Port

What outgoing use may I get from having a line connected to the LINE Port other than eliminating the need for a phone for that line since I can call out through phones connected to the Phone Port on Obi?

If you keep another service and connect it to the LINE of the Obi you can use it for 911 if nothing else (assuming the service offers 911).

OBiSupport:
Obi device can act as a BRIDGE for all your calls in/out via your LINE port, i.e., you may still place/receive a call through the handset connected to your PHONE port, but additionally, you can do this from many other devices that is reachable from your OBi device.
