Loop back fails

I have a new OBI110 and it seems to be connected to the Internet.  I get the IP address after dialing ***1.  Then I've logged into the OBI110 interface AOK.  I've done the **9 222 222 222 test but I get at tone the a voice "There is no service available to complete your call".

Now what?

RonR:
Down at the bottom of the OBi's main status page, does it say?:

OBiTALK Service Status

Status        Normal (User Mode)

bob88061:
OBiTALK Service Status
Parameter Name   Value
Status   Acquiring Service
CallState   0 Active Calls

RonR:
It appears the OBi isn't making it through your router to the Internet.  If possible, connect the OBi directly to your broadband modem and see if you can make a call to **9 222 222 222.  Power cycle both the modem and the OBi after making the direct connection.  If you can reach the echo test without the router in the loop, you'll know where to concentate your investigation.

I connected directly to the 2Wire DSL modem, power cycled both Obi and the 2Wire.  After things seem to be up I checked the IP of the Obi (172.1.1.35) and then dialed the **9 222 222 222 and got the same error message.

What ports does the Obi expect to use?  10000?  I've punched thru the 2Wire firewall routing port 10000 to the Obi (with no joy).  The 2Wire does not allow for the HW firewall to be turned off.

NOTE: Dialing **0 gets "Welcome to Obi Attendant" message and the Obi log shows:

Call 3   01/01/2010    16:14:14

Terminal ID   PHONE1   AA1
Peer Name
Peer Number           **0

16:14:14                  New Call
16:14:18                Call Connected
16:14:50                End Call

Thanks, Bob
