Hi there!

I have one ObI202 in USA and another ObI202 in Italy.
Please, would you point me to the correct syntax for CallForwardUnconditionalNumber field if I want to forward all incoming GV calls to another ObI202 number? I tried (ob500111111) or ob(500111111) but it doesn't work.
SP2(telephone_number) works but I really don't know how to transfer calls from a remote device to another ObI number.
GV is Primary Line for Outgoing Calls but I want to forward GV calls to ObI202 in Italy, not to a PSTN or SIP number.

Please, help.

Tank you

pp(500111111)

pp designates the OBiTalk network.

Edit:
If you want, you can easily route outbound calls from Italy to GV with some simple configuration changes.

Unfortunately it does not work.
Neither works under SP1 Service X_InboundCallRoute: {ph1,ph2},{pp(500111111)} nor under CallForwardUnconditionalNumber field: pp(500111111) or pp(ob500111111)  Sad
GV answers the call, prompts for the caller name, rings 4 time but incoming call is not forwarded to my ObI202 in Italy.

There is something wrong. Maybe I'm tired now, after a day of work and it should be better for me to go to bed because even the :aa for "2 Make a new call" doesn't work. Is it that way (aa prompts) to make calls to USA numbers via GV from Italy you spoke about, or do you have a smarter way to place calls from Italy via GV registere on my NY City device? With some simple configuration changes other than aa prompt?

Thank you azrobert for your help

The inbound route syntax is:
{ph1,ph2,pp(500111111)}

The "ob" is optional.
The {} is optional when you only have 1 rule and the above is considered as 1 rule.

The Italy OBiTalk Service InboundCallRoute must allow the call.
You can post it if you're not sure it's ok.

Look at the local Call History to see it was routed correctly or for any errors.

To access Call History:
Log directly into the OBi using the local interface.
Key the IP address of the OBi into a Web Browser.
Hit Enter
The UserID and default Password are both "admin".
Click Status on the left column then click Call History.

I hate the AA and will avoid using it when possible. I will make another post to show you how to route calls without it.

There are 2 formats when sending a number over the OBiTalk network.

Format 1:
2*18005551212
2 points to speed dial#2
You can use any speed dial#
The speed dial points to the N.Y. OBi number
Defined like: pp(500222222)
Asterisk is a separator followed by the number
If you're routing to more than 1 OBi, just setup a 2nd speed dial

Format 2:
500222222*18005551212

I use the 2nd format.
The default configuration uses the 1st format to send a call.
You just need to add code to the N.Y. OBi to route the call.

In the Italy OBi assuming the default config:
Dial "2*18005551212"

Phone port DigitMap rule [1-9]x?*(Mpli) validates the number
[1-9]x? validates the speed dial number
* validates *
The number must match a rule in the primary line's digit map (Mpli)

Phone port outbound route rule {([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp} will route the call to the OBiTalk network
The call will be routed to the N.Y. OBi without any config changes

N.Y. OBi:
Replace or add to the OBiTalk Service InboundCallRoute:
{500111111>(1xxxxxxxxxx|<1>[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|<1212>xxxxxxx):sp1}

500111111 is the Italy OBi number
212 is the local area code for 7 digit dialing

You can also use the SP1 digit map like this:
{500111111>(Msp1):sp1}

I use zero to route calls to the phone port
{500111111>0:ph},{500111111>(Msp1):sp1}

If you use zero, add "0" to the Italy ITSP A digit map

For OBiTalk format 2, you dial the number exactly the same as format 1
Change the Italy phone port outbound route rule to:
{(<500222222:2>*(Mpli)):pp}

This will change the "2" to the N.Y. OBi number
Now you don't need to define a speed dial

Edit:
If you only use the Italy OBi to communicate with NY then you can dial the number without the "2*" prefix.
Phone port rule (Mpli) will validate the number using the primary route's digit map.

Change the Italy phone port outbound route rule to add the prefix:
{(<500222222*>(Mpli)):pp}

OK, azrobert. You are a skilled one.
I red your post attentively but unfortunately I can't access to my ObI202 box in NY. The router over there it's not mine, I can't ask to configure it, nor viable is the installation of some kind of remote access software like for example TeamViewer and I can't do anything else that guest what is going on when I try to redirect calls. And to guest is NOT the better way to learn, you see. Therefore, for now, I only keep record of your post.
Fortunately, tomorrow 23, my 4th brand new ObI202 box will arrive in Seattle and there I can ask (at least I have the option of asking) to redirect port 80 or 8080 to my new box, in order to visually see Call History and how numbers are dialed, how they go out etc.
I will move GV account from the box in NY to the Seattle one.

Again, azrobert, thank you for the informations you provided to all of us.
