Hello,

Anyone knows if the Arris SB6183 is compatible with OBI110???

I have a strange problem. When I make/receive call the modem reboots in few minutes into the call. Modem never reboots any other times. Obi110 stays on.
Tried and exchanged modem, tech support to troubleshoot - no luck.

I had the service setup with google voice and it was working without any issues for years.
First I had to update obi110 firmware to 1.3.0 (Build: 2886). It did not create any problems.

About 4 month ago I had to change modem (old Motorola surf docsis 2.0) to Arris SB6183 docsis 3 for speed increase. Since then I can't use the phone. The modem reboots and drops connection every single call in 1 to 10 minutes in the call. I have Sectv 25/5 who is using http://www.ptd.net/ for service.
I'm not sure what to do. Help

I would give Arris a call. They will check your modem signal (you will have to read them values).

Doesn't that modem have an Event Log?
