Getting Fast Busy

I put Obi in service about a week ago and love it.  I have 2 lines hooked to GV.  This morning I pick up any phone and get a fast busy for about 4 seconds and then it goes to a normal dial tone.  I can make calls, not sure about incoming calls yet. 

Is this a problem with OBI or GV or not really a problem at all?  Possible heavy load on GV?

I think what you're hearing is a stutter dialtone.  This indicates you have unread voicemail.  Log into your Google Voice accounts and clear your inboxes.  Then reboot the OBi and you will should go back to a normal dialtone.

Duh.  Thanks, that was it.  My wife's line had a voicemail on it. 

Everyday you learn something new. 

Now I don't have to worry until tomorrow.
