I purchased an OBI200 to use with Cablevision Optimum Online Internet and a Brother MFC-J410w multi-function machine for faxing. I live in NYC.

I might be interested in using Callcentric Pay Per Call, as I have very few incoming and outgoing faxes per month.

As Callcentric doesn't have telephone support:

1) Does anyone know if Callcentric has a Free Trial Period?

2) Does Callcentric support Faxing OIP?

3) Does a phone number need to be purchased from Callcentric? If so, how much does it cost?

4) Can a Google Voice phone number be ported in to Callcentric?

5) Is there a minimum amount of money that needs to be in the Callcentric account?

6) Is there an expiration date if the amount of money hasn't been used for a while?

7) As there is no monthly fee on this rate plan:

Does anyone know if Taxes and a 911 Cost Recovery Fee are required, as I do NOT require 911 service on this Callcenteric line?

Thank you.

If you would have emailed that list of questions to Callcentric, they probably would have answered them.

1) Does anyone know if Callcentric has a Free Trial Period?

They do not.  You can get a free, inbound CC number from their pool of NY State numbers.  Inbound calls to those numbers are free.  There's no free outbound calling (aside from calls between two CC private numbers (1777xxxxxxx).

2) Does Callcentric support Faxing OIP?

Do you mean T.38 faxing over IP?  If so, yes, but both ends need to support that protocol.

3) Does a phone number need to be purchased from Callcentric? If so, how much does it cost?

Have you even tried to look these things up yourself?  Prices are right here:  http://www.callcentric.com/did/

4) Can a Google Voice phone number be ported in to Callcentric?

Yes.  Porting-out of Google Voice:  https://support.google.com/voice/answer/1316844?hl=en&ref_topic=1708124

5) Is there a minimum amount of money that needs to be in the Callcentric account?

Agan, if only you had done some reading...$5.  http://www.callcentric.com/rate/plans/pay_per_call/

6) Is there an expiration date if the amount of money hasn't been used for a while?

7) As there is no monthly fee on this rate plan:

No tax.  By US Federal regulation, carriers must provide 911 service.  It's up to you as to whether you tell the carrier you will be using the service in the US.
