The issue that prompted me to create the original post in this thread has been resolved by Obi Support. I've posted another update to my Obi configuration settings message updating the guidance for resolving this issue. I know this is an old post,but Just had the same problem today, glad I found this post.
Changing T38reinvite worked for my Panasonic answering machine too !
