(Solved) FW update broke ringing in
azrobert:
The OBi200 and OBi202 use the same firmware. I have an OBi200 and have downgraded the firmware in the past, but not from 5657.
Manually upgrade the firmware:
Log directly into the OBi using the local interface.
Key the IP address of the OBi into a Web Browser and hit Enter
The UserID and default Password are both "admin".
Click System Management then Device Update.
Under Firmware Update click Browse and find the FW file then click Update.
Kage:
My bad, somehow AnonymousCallBlockEnable was checked and was preventing some calls from getting through. Don't know how because I've never had that set to block.
Either the moderator can delete this thread or mark it as solved, I don't want to discourage anyone form updating firmware if it's not a problem.
@azrobert, thanks again, I always download FW and install manually. It's good to know that I can revert back to an older version if need be.

I attempted to revert to the factory firmware through the button on the bottom and ***8 but it doesn't go back.
The reset button on the bottom and the ***8 reset method set parameters to the default values for the installed firmware. They do not return the firmware to the version that was in the flash chip when the device was manufactured. The flash chip holds one only version of the firmware at a time. When you do an update (or downgrade) the previous version is overwritten.
Kage:
@drgeoff ok thanks for that clarification, not sure if they might have had the original factory version stored that could overwrite a newer one with a reset.
It doesn't look like you can install an older version over an updated one either:

A previous thread in 2014 may not be speaking directly at the type of minor downgrade that you are thinking about. Have you tried to downgrade your firmware with the link that azroberts provided: http://fw.obihai.com/OBi202-3-1-1-5589.fw
What happens when you do?
