Is there a way to busy out a line?

Is there a way I can configure an OBi 200/202 device to have one of its service profiles (Callcentric) always ring busy when called? I don't mean a fake busy signal (i.e. a recording) - I mean a real busy signal that you would get from a real provider's switch.

One option is to forward all calls to a telephone number that always rings busy (I have many), but I'd rather do it through the OBi device without the use of call forwarding or keeping a phone off-hook if possible.

azrobert:
Route the call to: pp(123456789)
Replace 123456789 with your own OBi number
This generates a response status of 486 and Busy Here on an OBi110.

Edit:
You will also get a "486 Busy Here" when no rules in the X_InboundCallRoute match the incoming call. You can't remove all the rules because I think that will default to sending the call to the phone port. You need a dummy rule like: {xyz:ph}

Interesting. I tried both methods on my OBi202 and when I call my Callcentric DID, it immediately goes to a recording that says, "The person you are trying to reach is currently unavailable. Please try your call again later."

Perhaps that's how CC handles busy calls and there is no way to override that?

azrobert:
I don't know how to override Callcentric's default response message.

Callcentric does have a Busy option under Call Treatments, but it looks like it's a recording, it doesn't return a 486 response status.

*deleted* as it wasn't very useful :-)
