What's PP?
SteveInWA:
Yes, they're both using the same call path; the linking feature simply assigns the two-digit speed dial numbers, which makes it easy to transfer calls, etc.
**9 is the prefix you enter on the phone to manually call out using OBiTALK, to the OBi number you enter, in the same way that **2(phone number) would place a call using SP2.

Thanks again, Steve. Funny thing is I can't seem to use the OBI Wizard to set up the line keys to call a linked 1062. I can call using 23 or 23# on the number pad, but not if 23 or 23# is defined for a line key (one of the six buttons to the right of the screen).
I am trying to define the line keys using the OBI dashboard, not the Expert Config. It doesn't seem to permit me to actually use the Linked devices from there, even though the process of Linking devices is right there. I just can't attach the linked device to the line key ...
Grrr ....
SteveInWA:
The basic configuration portion for OBi IP phones, on the OBiTALK portal, is very limited. You need to get into expert mode to make most changes to the phone's functions.
