Finally came across a sale on newegg using promotion code EMCBBCH26. Says valid until 9/29 I think and it is $15 off for a total price of $34.99 out the door before shipping.  Its more than IU wanted to pay but its what I am going with.  good luck to all the other abandoned obi100 users.

It's $37.44 at NE with the code.

My OBi100 ended up costing me 69¢/month, got no complaints.  Hopefully I'll get a few years out of the OB1200.  With the extra slots I'm going to try this.
