The OBi202 can't detect a fax call. You will have to define another GV account on SP3. PSTN inbound will default to OBi110 phone port.

OBi202
Physical Interfaces -> Phone1 Port -> PrimaryLine: SP1
Physical Interfaces -> Phone2 Port -> PrimaryLine: SP3

Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute: ph,pp(OBi110_OBi_Number)
Voice Services -> SP2 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute: ph,pp(OBi110_OBi_Number)
Voice Services -> SP3 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute: ph2
Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute:
{OBi110_OBi_Number:sp2},{ph}

OBi110
Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> OutboundCallRoute:
The 1st rule is: {([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp}
Change it to: {(<OBi202_OBi_Number*>(Msp1)):pp}
Don't skip the *

Azrobert,
You have my sincere thanks for doing this!   I had a concussion and am not all here yet - this stuff has been a real challenge (and I've done it before - long ago).   You just saved my bacon, because it is something that is beyond my current abilities.  I am so grateful.

But I do have a question or two.
Re the layout below, is there a typo?  I have no SPs on the: OBi110:

Code:

Obbi110
Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> OutboundCallRoute:
The 1st rule is: {([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp}
Change it to: {(<OBi202_OBi_Number*>(Msp1)):pp}       Don't skip the *

So the angle brackets Delete the obi number and any following digits? I have no SP, so should that be:
Code:

Change it to: {(<OBi202_OBi_Number*>(Msp1)):pp}

Should be   {(<OBi202_OBi_Number*>(Mpp)):pp}    Correct?

Re needing a 3rd GV acct for Fax, so GV will 'handle' Fax?  I saw some setting for handling incoming Fax (reInvite), but I gather it doesn't do what we need - maybe just select a better codec??

Thanks again, and in advance,
Paul

azrobert:
There are 2 formats when sending a call over the OBiTalk network.
When sending a call to OBiTalk without data, the following is sent: PP Dest_OBi_Number
The PP is optional, so calling OBi number 510123456 the following is sent:
510123456 or PP510123456

PP is also optional when calling with data, but I won't include it with the following example. When sending a call with phone number 8005551212 the following will be sent:
510123456*8005551212

I intentionally used (Msp1). When a SPx is not setup, you can still refer to its DigitMap. I assumed (maybe incorrectly) that the OBi110 SP1 digit map matched the OBi202 SP2 digit map. If you made changes to the OBi202 SP2 digit map, you need to make the same changes to the OBi110 SP1 digit map.

The <> will insert or remove digits to/from the dialed number.
The syntax is: <remove : insert>
The colon is optional when only adding digits.

{(<510123456*>(Msp1)):pp}

If you dial 8005551212, it will match (Msp1)
<510123456*> will add these characters, so:
510123456*8005551212 will be sent to OBiTalk.

There is something I forgot to include:
OBi110
Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> PrimaryLine: SP1

The dialed number needs to be validated by the Phone Port digit map.
The last rule in the digit map is (Mpli)
This will include all the rules in the Primary Line's digit map.

I agree that using SP1 is confusing. If you want to use (Mpp), set the OBi110 OBiTalk DigitMap equal to the OBi202 SP2 digit map and set the Primary Line to OBiTalk.

Edit:
I have no problem sending or receiving faxes with GV, but some people have problems. It depends on the quality of your internet connection. Are you having fax problems?

You can use GV on SP1 or SP2 to send a fax, so the only problem is receiving.

Edit2:
I forgot that (Msp1) will add a "1" to a 10 digit number, so 510123456*18005551212 will be sent to OBiTalk.

Frankfone:
Thank you Azrobert for your detail explanation.

I have the same problem than the other user. I had for years an Obi110 in Argentina connected to a PSTN line. It worked fine until they decided to sell us a new device.
Ok, I understand the need to make money from Obihai but, at least have customer service online or on the phone to help their customers not expecting good souls like you and others to resolve the customers problems.
No, it has not been easy and I still can not bridge the calls coming from my PSTN line to my Callcentric extension or my Google Voice number, as I did before.
After countless hours of trying and, I am not a VOIP tech or engineer, I need simple explanations and you have giving them but still not working.

I replaced the Obi110 with an Obi202 and an Obiline gadget to which I connected the PSTN line.
When the PSTN line rings, I managed to make phone attached to Phone 2 port in the Obi202 to ring but, the calls still not ringing  in my forwarded GV or my Callcentric extension I created in my cellphone.

These are my sample numbers in case you or any good knowledgeable soul can help:
Sp1: Google Voice: connected 1-240-450-abcd
Sp2: Callcentric: Registred 1-305-374-defg

Thank you very much.

Frank

If you have a broken OBi100 and also own an OBi200, you can define the broken GV account on the OBi200 and then route calls to/from the OBi100.

After defining GV on the OBi200, use OBI Expert to change the routing rules.

Anything dialed on the OBi100 that matches the Primary Line's digit map will be routed to SP4 on OBi200. OBI200 SP4 inbound calls will be routed to the OBi100's phone port.

Forwarding inbound GV calls to Callcentric will continue to work, so if you are doing this there is no need to route inbound SP4 calls to the OBi100.

OBi200

Define the OBi100 GV account on SP4

Voice Services -> SP4 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute: pp(200222222)

Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute:
{200222222:sp4},{ph}

Replace 200222222 with the OBi number of the OBi100

OBi100

Physical Interfaces -> Phone Port -> OutboundCallRoute:
The 1st rule is: {([1-9]x?*(Mpli)):pp}
Change it to: {(<510111111*>(Mpli)):pp}

Replace 510111111 with OBi number of the OBi200

Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute: ph

@Frankfone.

I'm puzzled!

If you have an Obi202 and an OBiLINE you do not need the OBi110 and azrobert's instructions.  You can configure the OBi202 plus OBiLINE combination in almost the same way as you did the OBi110.

On the other hand, if you do want to use the OBi110 to handle the PSTN line you don't need the OBiLINE.  That method is the aim of azrobert's instructions.

Frankfone:
Thank you Drgeoff for your reply.

Yes, "IF" I had a working Obi110 I would not have spent the money in buying new gadgets. You are right.
IF the 110 was working I could just copy all the parameters and make the Obi202 work.

Unfortunately, Obihai and GV are not compatible anymore with each other for the end of life 110, (I guess you have not been reading the news) and I thought it was a glitch and a miss-configuration problem and I started "tweaking" and messing with the programming. Now I do not know how to set up the Obi202 by myself and have to relay in the good people of this board.

Your answer is of no help, and I will quote it: " You can configure the OBi202 plus OBiLINE combination in almost the same way as you did the OBi110."
If I am asking for help is because I can not do it myself. There is no: same way. I had this Obi110 working for about 5 years now. But since it does not work with GV anymore and, not as fault of myself, I was requesting for real help
I will try the method of Asrobert and see if it works.
I was not able to make the 110 to work with Callcentric for the incoming calls of the PSTN line and forward the calls to my cell number or any other number. It does ring on the attached phone, though.
Real detail tech solutions would be of help.
Thank you.
