OBI200 & OBI202 Local Firmware Update differing results

We have 2 of these, a 200 and a 202. Both configured originally through the obitalk portal to establish gv connectivity. Once gv connections verified all ties to obitalk portal were severed so devices could only be locally managed.

Obi200 firmware : 3.1.1.5462EX
Obi202 firmware : 3.1.1.5463EX

Updated firmware was pushed using local management console (obi ip address). Both devices flashed with the same firmware image.

Updating the 202 was an involved process. GV accounts received authentication errors after updating to the 3.2.1.5757EX firmware. Fix involved factory reset, re-establish gv credentials through obitalk portal then restore backup locally.

The 200 update was much simpler. Still made a config backup before doing anything but it didn't require any factory resets or redoing the gv links. GV connected without any issues.

Any thoughts on what happened with the 202 update?
