I have a requirement to use the FXO port of the OBI-110 ATA as an access line for two or more IP Phones. How is the OBI-110 FXO port configured, using a Loop Start POTS line, to accept both an  out going, and incoming call by an IP phone?

Fairly easy if the OBi110 and the IP phones are connected to an IP PBX.  See http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=57.0 and http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=1157.0.

More tricky if they are not. Basically  the same as discussed at http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=13087.msg83877#msg83877

Incoming POTS calls to the OBi110 can be forwarded to the IP addresses of the phones.

The OBi110 cannot act as a SIP proxy.  If and only if the phones can make calls without being registered they can call the OBi110's IP address and reach its POTS port.

As a follow up to the above.

I would like to configure an Obihai-100 to select the FXO port of an Obihai-110 so the Obihai-100 can complete a dial call via the Obihai-110 FXO port on an IP to IP connection.

Second configuration scenario:  From Linksys PAP-2T, or equivalent ATA, access an Obihai-110 FXO port, and complete a dialed call via the Obihai-110.

Third configuration scenario:  From from a Grandstream IP phone, or equivalent, access an Obihai-110 FXO port, and complete a dialed call via the Obihai-110.

The plan is to use the Obihai-110 FXO in Foreign Exchange (FX) line service using an IP connection to bring local dial-tone to a distant location.

All call connections are direct IP to IP connections with no PBX, Obitalk in use.

Thank you in advance.
