New Obi200 and digimap

(1/2) > >>

Wilbour:
I had to discontinue using my Obi100 as it would no longer connect.

When setting up my new Obi200 I see my Digimap under:

Service Providers
ITSP Profile A
General

is as follows: (*xx|1xxxxxxxxxx|<1613>[2-9]xxxxxx|<1>[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|011xx.|xx.|(Mipd)|[^*]@@.)

It looks like when I dial just the seven digits it prefixes it with 1613 (my area code). This is good since we have 10 digit dialing for local calls

It also looks like when I dial 10 digits it prefixes it with 1. This works too.

But every now and then when I dial 10 digits it dials out but the other phone does not ring. I can hear ringing on my outgoing phone but my cell does not connect.

If I purposely dial 1 first it connects no problem. After that it will work with just 10 digits.

Can anyone see issues with this digimap and tell me if it's just some odd things left over from my old Obi100 ?

What does the last parts of the digimap do?

Wilbour:
This is the default digimap

(1xxxxxxxxxx|<1>[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|011xx.|xx.|(Mipd)|[^*#]@@.)

Wilbour:
Ok so I must be missing something.

I tried to change the digimap to the default and submit changes then reboot but it stays the same

I tried to log into the unit with default: admin admin but I am denied.

This is brand new.

Any suggestions?

azrobert:
(Mipd) will match string 0*192*168*1*100 and convert it to IP address 0@192.168.1.100
[^*#]@@. will match an IP address.
You can remove these rules.

admin is the default PW. You probably changed it on the dashboard. Click on the Gear ICON next to your OBi200. See Web Admin Password.

If you are configuring you OBi200 from OBiTalk, you can't locally.

Unclick both boxes to the right of the value to see the real value.

11 digits will be sent to your service provider when you dial 7, 10 or 11 digits, so what you're saying doesn't make sense. It must be a random problem that seems to be fixed when 11 digits are dialed.

Wilbour:
Password thing has me perplexed.

If I go to 192.168.0.101 which is my IP address according to the device I can see all my settings

I can reboot but cannot login under User login.

I went so far as to factory reset my Obi200 and verfied my Web Admin Password is still admin

Interesting.
