Hi forum,
First of all, thanks for the help in advance.

I have owned an OBI1032 for about 3 years now with my google voice and it's been great.
All of a sudden 2 weeks ago though it stopped being able to make calls (yellow light, lcd screen still working, internet connection still fine, no changes).

According to the obihai website here is my error:
Backing Off : TCP connection to 125.199.125.74 failed

I've tried rebooting it, removing and re-adding the google voice account, factory resetting, and updating firmware.  Nothing changes this.

I also have my ethernet cable running into this device, then going from this device to my work desktop computer, and my work desktop is getting internet service no issues.  I have thought of throwing a switch here on my desk just to eliminate the passthrough as being the cause of the issue, but that idea seems silly and possibly a time waster to me, thoughts?

Any ideas of what this could be?  OBihai service email told me they wont help me unless i buy a service contract on amazon....seems odd for something like this, but hope you guys can help.

Thanks again!

You need the latest firmware 4666EX:1311.  Get it by using the "yellow triangle" method.
Thanks Dr Geoff - trying to do this now. I cant believe OBIhai didnt just tell me this over their email and instead told me to buy a $15 warranty.

I've actually tried clicking the triangle 2 times now with the 3-5 minute wait, with nothing happening...hoping 3rd time is the charm.

On the 3rd time -
"The firmware update to your OBi 610274692 might not have succeeded.
Please wait 1 or 2 minute and refresh this page and check if the yellow triangle is still showing.
Or you can also update your device manually by following this procedure."

On the google voice account it says "resolving DNS" and just says there like that.

Should i remove the google voice account and try setting it up from scratch again?

You can keep trying the yellow triangle or follow the instructions to manually install.  Download the firmware from http://fw.obihai.com/OBiPhone-5-1-7-4666EX.fw

Have tried manual install 4 times now...

"Firmware Update Failed

System is busy, please try again later"

Fixed it.  Thanks to another member who has the same phone as me.
I had to update firmware to Build: 2436 first.  Then i had to click the yellow triangle (manually updating to the latest firmware does not work, only manually updating to 2436 first).
Great support Obihai...not.
