Hello,

I have two OBI202s linked together - "main office" is ext 22 and "remote office" is ext 20.

When I setup SIP providers it's pretty easy saying which port will ring but where do I find this setting with linked OBIs ? I only want port 2 to ring when the linked extension call comes in, with port 1 setup to ring when an inbound call comes in from the SIP provider number.

Help much appreciated.

Gavin

Linked devices use speed dial numbers to route a call over the OBiTalk network to another linked device. You need to use OBi Expert to modify the inbound route on the target device. The inbound route is found here:
Voice Services -> OBiTalk Service -> InboundCallRoute

I never used linked devices, so I don't know exactly what the rule looks like.

It should be something like:
{111222333:ph,ph2}

111222333 is the OBi number of the calling device.

Change it to:
{111222333:ph2}

In OBi Expert you need to uncheck both boxes to the right of the value to see the current value or be able to modify it.
