Speed Dial Setup (SOLVED)

Hey All,

Just setup my Obi110 with GV. It took under 10mins. But for some reason i can not get speed dial to work. I am trying to setup family numbers as speed dials and so far no luck. I did some google and forum searches without luck. I saw one post about using obi number in speed dial. Is there a guide for this?

You can enter Speed Dials either of two ways:

1. Use the same format that you would dial the number from the phone port:

18005551212
**218005551212
**9222222222

Using this method, PHONE Port DigitMap and OutboundCallRoute rules are applied.

2. Use Trunk (TK) format:

SP2(18005551212)
LI(5551212)
PP(ob222222222)

Using this method, PHONE Port DigitMap and OutboundCallRoute rules are NOT applied.

I guess im an idiot. I am trying the first method and putting in the information as you have it.

So if im correct which i am sure i am not i put this in the number 3 id slot Number/Address field of the speed dial page?

**318005551212 **9333333333

or

**218005551212 **9222222222

If you want Speed Dial #3 to dial 18005551212 using the default (PrimaryLine) trunk, you'd put:

18005551212

into the Speed Dial 3 slot.

If you want Speed Dial #3 to dial 18005551212 using the SP2 trunk, you'd put:

**218005551212

into the Speed Dial 3 slot.

If you want Speed Dial #5 to dial OBiTALK number 200123456, you'd put:

**9200123456

into the Speed Dial 5 slot.

Thank you! That cleared it up perfectly and now works. I guess i was trying to compicate it. I have much to learn on this device. But enjoying it.
