Google authentication issue

Yesterday morning I sat down at my office desk and noticed that my line keys were lit up yellow. Upon trying to make a call, my 1032 notified me that "Call Failed: Service Not Available"...

I logged in to my obitalk account and was immediately shown a message about my Google credentials being invalid. So i re-entered my Google username and password (neither of which have changed recently), my phone re-booted and everything was working again.

A couple of hours later, same behavior! Had to go through those same steps again. And again this morning!

Any thoughts on why this sudden authentication trouble???

Thanks in advance...

That is ancient.

Your phone should have been updated to at least 4666.  Isn't it showing the yellow triangle on the portal?

I don't really log into the portal, so I did not see it... i do notice it now, and i'm on my third round of updates. guess i have to go in order, can't leapfrog to the latest? anyway, phone just booted up a second ago and i see now 5.1.7 4666ex.1311 so hopefully i'm good to go. thanks!

earlier today I downloaded the "latest firmware" (from http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=9.0) and logged into my phone from a web browser using the ip address. But when i tried to install the fw file that i'd just downloaded, i got this message: "Previous version identical to the update. Firmware not modified."

I guess i downloaded a stale fw file...

Your phone is still downlevel.  Just download this file and then log into your OBi via its IP address and upgrade the firmware from the local web GUI.  http://fw.obihai.com/OBiPhone-5-1-10-4808EX.fw

And, to be very clear, you must use the OBiTALK web portal to configure Google Voice.  It is NOT reading nor storing your Google Voice password; it's using Google's OAUTH 2.0 authentication, which the portal has to set up for you.

Thanks very much for providing a link to the latest fw. Is there a way to be notified of new versions as they are made available?
