How many phones can you hook up to one line?

Just installed my Obi202...I connected the device to all 7 telephone jack in the house. However, when I plug in the 7th phone all the phones do a quick ring, not the normal long ring. Is there a limit to how many phones are connect to 1 port/trunk? Is there a way to change this quick ring to something longer?

It depends on the phones.

The OBi spec is 5 REN.
If the change from normal ring to short ring happens merely by adding the 7th phone, adjusting the OBi will NOT remedy that.
