Thanks for posting this! Will give it a try later this eve and post back.
There is no firmware currently available that will make an OBi100 or Obi110 connect natively to Google Voice after XMPP access is terminated.

Can you elaborate on which instructions you used and why it was difficult for you?

well, I just followed directions, it was 3 pages of instructions, very detailed, great info, but, a challenge for me to do, but, I Did it! you can too.. one step at a time...
