This method uses the local network to route call between the 2 boxes. Some people have been successful using this method from 2 different locations and others have had audio problems. I'm not setup to test it from 2 locations. That is why I suggested using the OBiTalk network to route calls in my post#9 above. It's any easier setup, but requires a functioning OBiTalk network.

It "Should" work. Having SIP ALG configured in your friend's router can cause strange behavior. That's a router problem and not an OBi configuration problem. I can't think of anything else that would cause problems, but I'm sure there is something.
