I have an Obi 200 connected to my home's telephone system. Everything works fine in terms of GV, outgoing/incoming calls etc. The only issue is when we get incoming calls there's is an abbreviated ring, almost a chirp. Is there a way to address this?

By home phone system do you mean the OBi is plugged in to multiple phones via the house wiring?

If yes, disconnect the OBi from the house wiring and instead plug one phone directly into the OBi's phone jack.  Does that single phone ring properly on an incoming call?  If yes the reasons for your abbreviated ring include:

1.  one of the phones is faulty.  Try them all plugging one at a time directly into the OBi.

2.  the house wiring is faulty

3.  the house wiring is not properly disconnected from other phone wiring such as a telco's external line.

Thanks DR. The answer to your first question is yes. The solution was #3, disconnecting the telco's wires at the external box. They're ringing off the hook now!  ;D

Count yourself lucky.  Having an OBi's PHONE port connected to a telco line is one of the best ways of frying the port.  For most people that's the same as having a doorstop.
