Obi200 with Google Voice and Anveo911 - not working

Hello. I have been using an Obi100 with Google Voice and Anveo911 service for well over a year with absolutely no issues. Two weeks ago I received an email stating my Obi100 would no longer be supported as Google Voice is getting an upgrade in June. So I went ahead and purchased an Obi200.

I am trying to set it up, this is what I've done so far:


  • Deleted my old Obi100 device
  • Added my Obi200 Device
  • Registered the Obi200 and added my Google Voice account
  • Everything up to this point works fine.....
  • Restored my Anveo911 account to my new device
  • The Anveo911 Account on SP2 says "Registered"
  • Now my Google Voice account on SP1 says "Configuring" then "Connecting to (IP ADDRESS)

And now nothing works. I've repeated this process many times, still not working. Has anyone else received the same error/issue?

If you log into OBiTalk, look at your device in the dashboard and see if it has an exclamation point in a triangle. That is the firmware upgrade button.

GV has had a lot of changes in its integration with OBi and if your FW is too far behind, GV won't work properly in one of the SP slots.

Give that a try and let us know if that fixes your issue ;)
