New GV UI rollout?

Is there a timeframe for when we should see the "new" UI for GV as shown in the screenshot posted by SteveInWA in the XMPP announcement thread?

Is this already appearing for certain users or is it only for beta testers right now? Is it/will it be a phase-in like most other things with GV?

The new Google Voice web UI has been out for a long time, at https://voice.google.com/settings

You will not see all of then entries as shown in my screenshot, unless you are currently enrolled in the Google Voice WiFi/4G VoIP calling beta test.  The connections are there, but "invisible".  There are no dates set yet to a)finish migrating off of the "Legacy" UI, nor for the VoIP beta to go into general availability.

If you want to join the beta, you can submit the form per this discussion thread:

Please clarify something. I have had the new UI for at least a year. What I call "new" is the one that is NOT the legacy Google Voice. However in my new UI Settings page, I have slider buttons for various features, but I don't have the side tabs like in your screenshot. I.E. no menu on the left to choose Phone Numbers/Messages/Calls/Voicemail, etc. Instead all those categories are laid out linearly from top to bottom on one long scrolling page.

So, is the one with the side menu part of the VOIP beta as well, or should current GV standard accounts see those side headings now? Or IOW, is the "long format" page I'm seeing the latest correct layout for non-beta users?

My screenshot was from here:  https://voice.google.com/settings which is the new Google Voice web browser UI.  It is formatted in one long web page, vs. a separate web page using tabs.  If you click the three vertically-oriented dots on the left side of the page, or click the three horizontal bar "hamburger" menu icon at the top left, a selection bar will slide out.

Oh, ok I finally figured out why I wasn't seeing the side menu headings. My screen was not set wide enough so it reverted to an all in one page format, without the additional column for the settings categories.

Now, in your sample screenshot, there is that language at the top showing "Outgoing calls... you can use Google Voice on the web to place calls on your phone.... Learn more". This part is not present on my Settings page. Is *this* part an example of an item that will be seen only by VOIP beta users?
