OBI 100 no longer rings or receives calls

After working for many years, the OBI 100 does not ring for Google Voice calls.  This stopped working sometime in the last few days.   I verified in the device call history that the calls are not being received.  I have been using the Simonics gateway for the last six months or so.   Outgoing calls are still fine.  Is anyone else still using the OBI 100 or do I need to give up and upgrade the device?

go to Google Voice legacy settings and delete the ObiTalk device.  Then go to http://simonics.com/news/ to follow what is going on there.

Thanks.   Looks like Bill Simon is actively posting in the Simonics forums.   Deleting the device as you and Bill suggested as a temporary fix works.   I'll monitor and, if needed, post on the Simonics forums about this issue.

We are also Simonics users for an Obi box as well as a Panasonic SIP phone.
Things here have also been dicey for some days already.

Makes it seem as though waiting a bit is a good choice IMO...as things remain in flux.

Should the gateway option fail completely & permanently, I think the easy fix we'll use is just to get a new number from Circlenet & add it as a forwarding phone at GV, leaving all else as-is.
That way the cool SMS functions & other stuff stick around & the cost is low enough to easily afford.
Sam did post here about what he was offering:

For us, the porting would not only forfeit the SMS portion that we use from GV, but it also means paying google their $3 port out fee, so...
Why not just keep the good features, avoid that fee, and just add another number to the account ??

Since I use CallCentric for 911 service I can also forward GV to it.
