Possible To Use Obi 110 with GV Using 3rd Party Firmware?

Hello. For the last 6 months I have been using the GVGW to keep my Obi110 working with Google Voice. But that seems to be over and done with now (thanks Bill, the last 6 months have been great).

In looking around somehow I found this 3rd party firmware <http://www.obifirmware.com/#faq> and decided to give it a try as a last ditch before unplugging my Obi 110 once and for all. I have flashed it successfully.

I have no idea how to even try to configure it to work directly with GV again. Does anyone:

(a) Know if this will work at all?

(b) Know how I can configure it to work with GV as SP1?

(a) Don't think so.  (Even if it does now it won't soon.  It uses XMPP which is on GV's deathrow.)
(b) No.
