I have a Google Voice number that I have been using for the Obi100.  I have upgraded to the Obi202 and would like to use the same telephone number.  How do I change this in Google Voice or Obi?  Appreciate any help someone can give me.

I read the instructions.  I got to the screen to add google voice.  There is no place to add a current telephone number.  It suggests you request a new telephone number from google voice.  I don't want a new number.  I wish to add my old telephone number.  I don't see a place to do this successfully.  If someone can direct me, I would appreciate it.

You have a Google Voice issue, not an OBiTALK device issue.

If you hadn't used that Google Voice phone number in nine months or longer, then Google would have reclaimed the number, so that another user can make use of it.  In that scenario, you cannot get that number back.

You can use Google Voice's "I know my number but forgot my account" tool, to find out if the number is still active, and, if so, it will send you an automated email note to the correct Gmail account that holds the number.  This is the only way to attempt to recover the number.

I have used the phone number recently...it is not inactive.  I need to know how to tie the number to my Obi device.

That is just OBi 101, as pointed out by dircom.

Sign into the correct Google/Gmail account that holds your Google Voice number, and go here:

https://voice.google.com/settings

Confirm that you see your inbound Google Voice phone number on that page; if you don't, then you are either signed into the wrong Google account, or your number was reclaimed.  Assuming you see it, then...

Press Ctrl-T to open another browser window, and sign into your OBiTALK dashboard, here:

http://www.obitalk.com/obinet/pg/obhdev

Click on SP1 or whichever SP you want to use.  Follow the instructions on-screen to configure it to use your Google account.  Make sure, when it pops up a window asking you to confirm that you are granting OBiTALK permission to access your account, that it displays the same Google/Gmail address as you saw earlier.  Finish the steps.  That's it.
