Hello,
I'm trying to access the file explorer fro the external USB storage but am getting an error 'The requested URL was not found!' I have no problem accessing the device itself, just the USB storage. I have tried several different USB drives with the same results. I am using the address http://<obi-address>/obi_share, as the Administrative Manual states.

The manual also states that I can access the USB drive by clicking the File Explorer link on the OBi device webpage, but there is no such link. Also, there is no link to configure the USB storage on the OBI device; I must enter Obi Expert Configuration to change it.

In expert config WAN access is checked by default. I have enabled Anonymous user & User1, but have a red exclamation mark next to the enable checkmark. There is no indication of what this error is.

Can anyone help me use the external USB storage? I have the Obi 200, Windows 10, Chrome browser
Thanks,
Denise

ISTR a previous post about USB storage no longer working on latest firmwares.  Deliberate or bug, I don't know. http://www.obitalk.com/forum/index.php?topic=9983.msg91618#msg91618

A red exclamation mark means the setting has been changed from default.

It works for me. I'm using fw 5859EX.

http://192.168.1.10/obi_share
Replace 192.168.1.10 with the IP address of your OBi200.
You will be prompted for your ID and PW.

drgeof: thank you for the link. It looks like that's the issue, since I was previously able to use file explorer in USB storage. I'm disappointed, since I'm trying to have more network storage available. Do you know how to contact  Polycom or find out if this will be changed?

Strange that I didn't come up with this thread when I searched the forums for 'USB storage"

azrobert: thanks, but I've already tried that. Apparently, the issue is that I have a later firmware than you. Mine is v3.2.2 (Build: 5898EX). Did you disable provisioning so that you don't automatically upgrade firmware?

Yes. I have Auto Firmware Update disabled. There were several problems introduced with 5897 and not all of them fixed with 5898, so I never upgraded.

Here is the link to download 5859:

azrobert: thanks for the link; I'll see if I can work on that. Have a good day
