If/when they publicly and openly announce a date certain for the 2xx EOL, it would be a very good deal.
Sadly, without knowing if it will be in a week - a month - a year - or never, that casts a very long shadow on buying a device from them IMO.

B.S.  There are no plans to discontinue the 200 series.  In fact, they recently updated the products to have a black case with the Polycom logo on it.

The whining about EOL was tiresome two years ago.  Now it is just plain dumb.
