Anybody working on Shaken and Stirred robocall filtering protocol for Obi?

(1/1)

BGood:
I recently read a news report on the new Shaken and Stirred robocall filtering protocol for VOIP

https://www.consumerreports.org/robocalls/best-ways-to-fight-robocalls/

Is anybody working on an adaptation for Obihai devices?

A_Friend:
I think that's a back-end protocol for carriers, not a front-end thing for PBXes and ATAs.  Basically, when/if completed, it works on the PSTN level.

I read here about one external blocking service you can install today on an Obihai device, nomorobo.com.  It works by simultaneous ringing to their server, which grabs the call and hangs up on it if it's in their blacklist.
