Should the network activity indicator on the Obi200 work with wireless adapter?

I just installed an OBiWiFi5G wireless adapter on my Obi200. I've got it configured, and it's working properly, but I have a question. Should the network activity LED on the Obi200 flash to indicate network activity with the wireless connection, or does it only work when the Obi200 is connected with an Ethernet cable?

With the wifi adapter, the activity light is the indicator light on the OBiWiFi5G. The indicator is if it is connected via Ethernet.
