How to Display Incoming Caller ID to my computer scree
artgriff:
Okay, Thank you. Not sure I want to purchase both the software and the Hiro. Will have to think about that. Now, the original reoly that was sent to me on here shows a way of doing the same thing from a 5+year old post. As I read that it seemed quite complicated. Am I write to think that? Also the YAC is not available to download as the sight would not open. Any other suggestions?

Why don't you try a softphone? I see by one of your previous posts you're using Phonepower, so it should only take 2 changes on you OBi to implement. I use Phonerlite on Windows. When you receive a call, you will get a pop-up in the bottom right corner on your screen with the callerid and name. The callerid will have the IP address of the OBi as a suffix. You also have the option of answering the call on the computer. You would be able to make calls from your computer with another small change.
Use OBi Expert to make these changes.
Assuming Phonepower is defined on SP1.
Service Providers -> ITSP Profile A SIP -> X_SpoofCallerID: Checked
Voice Services -> SP1 Service -> X_InboundCallRoute:
ph,sp1(userid@xx.xx.xx.xx)
xx.xx.xx.xx is the ip address of your computer running Phonerlite
Download Phonerlite Setup exe:
http://phonerlite.de/download_en.htm
Use the ip address of your OBi as the Proxy
The userid must match the userid in the X_InboundCallRoute
