Obi200 with Google Wifi router

I am trying to setup a new Obi200 with Google wifi and an ethernet switch. The setup is cable modem to Google Wifi to ethernet switch. I can see the device fine on my network and am able to make the call to register, however no response is received and the device not added to my profile. A previous post mentioned reserving an IP address as solving the issue but that did not work for me. Are there port forwarding rules?

after letting it sit some time, it added the device finally. not sure what changed...
