How to install an Obi so that all the house jacks use it for calls?

Hello:

If I cancel my Bell Canada landline, which allows all the phones in my house to make and receive calls, how do I hook up an obi to do the same?

If this is possible, will any obi model do?

Any explanation for how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Rob.

PS. My internet DOES NOT come in over my Bell line.

Probably not the answer you are looking for since it would mostly likely require new equipment BUT

My OBi is connected to a cordless phone base station that has 4 wireless phones (more are possible).

Bonus Feature -- it also can be a base station via Bluetooth for my cellular phone(s).  Thus, I can answer either my POTS or cellular calls via the wireless handsets.

First ensure that the external POTS line is completely isolated from the house wiring. Then use a standard phone cord to plug the OBi's (any model) PHONE port into the house wiring.

Wrong. See my post above.

Thanks for responding Pete. :)
Yes, that is what I am doing now but I needed to learn if there was a way to use the wiring in the house, and, there seems to be a way.
Rob.
