I did pinhole router ports but don't know if necessary

I had to use a speaker on my laptop to make loud DMTF tones right into the carbon microphone.

It was still flaky but it worked.

I used an online tone generator. Use the kind that makes the sound as long as you press the button
so you can make the tones a half second or a second long
