OBI200 power cycles/reboots when picking up phone

I have installed my obi box and all the lights are on as expected but when I pick up the phone to make a call, about 95% of the time, the box immediately power cycles/reboots.

The power light goes red and the other lights go out when the phone is picked up.  It then looks like a normal reboot cycle where The power light is red for about 5 seconds, then blinks green and the internet connection is reestablished.  The phone light then will come back on.

I have tried two different phones and phone cables and it behaves the same regardless of the phone connected.

The firmware is (3.2.2 (Build: 5921EX) which I think is the latest.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Has this every worked?

My first guess would be the power supply is failing or insufficient to the task.

I got the box from a friend. Maybe that's why he gave it to me  ;D

I'll check the power supply.  Thanks for the info.

The wall-wart is only part of the powering circuitry.  The OBi200 itself contains quite a bit more voltage conversion and conditioning circuits.

It turns out he had given me the wrong power supply.  Once I got the correct one it is working properly.

Thank you for the pointer to check the voltage.
