How to dial E911 ...

Hello Friends:

I am new to the community and installed my OBI202 last night (leaving Ooma). My question:

Let's say I use ANVEO or GV911 (or some other E911 provider). When I go to dial 911 (hopefully never), would I need to prefix it with the SP slot prefix that the E911 provider is configured on? For example: **2911 or **3911 or **4911. Or can I just dial 911 and the OBI202 automatically knows which one to use?

Also, any other advice or alternatives for E911 service is welcome.

OBi's can be configured to recognise certain dialled numbers (or number patterns such as area codes) and cause the call to be made over a desired SP.  Some configuration tools do this automatically for 911.  If not, learn how to do it manually.
