Can the Obi1062 see 5 Ghz wifi networks?

jfbobi:
I have an Obi1062 and it's connecting to our 2.5 Ghz wifi network. However, we have a much faster 5 Ghz wifi network that I'd like to connect it to, but that network doesn't appear when I scan for wifi networks to join. Can the 1062 connect to 5 Ghz networks, or is it limited to 2.5 Ghz? Thanks!

drgeoff:
The OBi1062's built-in Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz only.

jfbobi:
Thanks drgeoff! Is there any way around this with an accessory? I don't have the option of plugging in an ethernet cable, unfortunately. Or is there another Obi phone that sees 5 Ghz networks? Thanks!

SteveInWA:
The OBi 1000 series do not have built-in WiFi.  You have to buy and plug in a OBiWiFi 5G dongle.  That dongle supports both bands.

The OBi 2000 series have built-in dual-band WiFi.

The 1062 does have built-in Wi-Fi.  The 1032 and 1022 do not.
