I have been using 60;2(0+2);58(2+4) in Ring Pattern 1 (with GV and an OBi200) to delay the first ring for just a few seconds, so that a spam service I use has an opportunity to intercept the simultaneous ring without my phone making a sound. Without this setting, a ring or partial ring can leak through. However, with this Ring Pattern set, caller ID does not work, even on calls that do get through.
I know CLID is typically sent between the first and second ring, does this mean that I am effectively chopping CLID off the call? I like the silence, but the best of both worlds would be the delay *and* caller ID. Is this possible?
