Hello,

I went through the infos available in the Support section, including the "Quick Start Guide" and the "Device Administration Guide", but I'm still unclear at how the different parts on the left-side of the web UI work together:

  • Service Providers
  • Voice Services
  • Physical Interfaces
  • Codecs
  • Tone Settings
  • Ring Settings
  • Star Codes
  • User Settings

At this point, if I had to explain what the Obi110 does, I would say that it's a small PBX to connect two telephone end-points through different channels (the local landline with the LINE interface, the Internet to connect to a remote Obi or to connect to a remote PSTN user through SIP- or XMPP-based ITSPs like GoogleVoice, etc.).

How would you explain what the Obi110 does to someone who's not particularly into telephony, and how the different parts above are combined to make things happen?

Thank you.
