In the past I was able to setup a speed dial to call from my obitalk Obihai 200 to my mothers Obitalk obihai 200, just by using our ObiNumber, but that stopped working.  Its impossible to find that old post now of how to do it.

Does anyone know how to call from one Obihai device to another without using an SIP carrier in between?

Most especially the dial codes used in the Speed Dials, so it recognizes not to place it over one of my VOIP service providers.

**9 followed by the 9 digit OBi number of the OBi you wish to call is the conventional method.  You can put that in a speed dial on your OBi or your phone if it has memories.

Another way is to use a digit map substitution.  I have a pair of OBis configured to call the other one by dialling a 5.

Eg insert

<5:**9012345678>|

immediately after the opening ( of the PHONE port digit map. 012345678 represents the relevant 9 digit OBi number.
